Hannah Patteson

Hannah Patteson is an artist from Fairfax, VA currently working towards an MFA at James Madison University.  The amount of materials she will use in works knows little bounds, but will sometimes include steel, wood, yarn, fabric, and found objects.  She likes to utilize sports skills that she has accrued throughout childhood (specifically in gymnastics, acrobats, unicycling, and skating) to interact with and abstract the standardization of body movement, and to give it a new role in intimate and queer relationships.
